Nurse LVN/LPT/RN Psychiatric (Downtown)

Community-based 14-bed, short-term acute residential mental health treatment program is seeking on-call or part-time evening weekend nurses LVN/LPT/RN (Saturdays & Sundays 4:00pm to midnight). New Vistas Crisis Center is conveniently located within walking distance of public transportation, Petco Park, and the Gaslamp Quarter. Parking for staff is available on our property. Shift times can be somewhat flexible. Nurses in our program pass medications and complete nursing assessments on new clients. Master's and Doctoral-level counselors run the shift and manage clinical needs. Psychiatry is contracted through UCSD and MD's visit the program 2-3 times per week. Our nurse supervisor and psychiatrist are available via pager/cell phone for consultation and medication orders. Complete orientation and training is provided. LVN/LPT salary range is $18-20/hour D.O.E. RN salary range is $23-25/hour. Weekend evenings offer a $2/hour shift differential. Weekend days offer a $1/hour shift differential.
