Support Specialist/Job Coach – Mira Mesa





Employment and Community Options is a non profit organization whose primary goal is to assist individuals with disabilities seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce. By working closely with our clients, our Support Specialist/Job Coaches implement individual approaches to help each client improve and enhance their unique skills and abilities.



We are looking for a Job Coach who is an energetic and caring individual who wants to make a difference. The Job Coach’s role is to assist adults with developmental disabilities by working one-on-one or in small groups at their employment site or in the community, providing training and coaching when needed. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of those you will support.



Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

$8.00 – $11.00 an hour (based on experience)

This is a great opportunity for students seeking a degree in the social services or health care field.





Required:

•High School diploma or GED

•Knowledge of MS Word

•Clean DMV record

•Health Screen

•DRIVING IS REQUIRED - Personal reliable vehicle and proof of insurance

•Must be reliable, trustworthy, with a positive attitude and a willingness to serve others
