Nonsmoking women who live with a smoker needed for a study about exposure to cigarette smoke! EARN $100 for 4 hours of work!
Who is eligible? Women, 18+ years old, living in San Diego County, must live with a smoker
What is required? Complete brief surveys about secondhand smoke exposure on a handheld personal digital assistant (PDA) for 7 days, collect saliva to measure nicotine absorbed into body, wear an air monitor for 7 days, complete a survey about past cigarette smoke exposure and have home audited for factors that may influence exposure. All data is collected in your home, no travel or costs involved in completing this study.
What do you get? $100 for completing and returning all study materials and receive a report with your secondhand smoke exposure information.
