“Complete it. Connect it.” Coupon Program Sign-Up Event

After February 17, 2009, all full-powered television stations will broadcast only in digital. If you plan to keep your analog TV set that uses rabbit ears or a rooftop antenna – you will need a converter box. The Federal government is offering all U.S. households up to two, $40 coupons, each of which may be used to help pay for the cost of one converter box. All you need to do is apply. Arc of San Diego and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) are hosting an event to educate the public on this transition and how to prepare. Applications for the $40 coupons will be available at the event.
