On the "plus" side this company came out the day after I called after I'd been trying to get 2 other companies to come out for 4 wks. The electrician who came out was polite and clean.
On the "minus" side, they charged me $125 for very little work. I had originally called because an outlet was out in a bedroom. The work involved to fix this was going into a connecting bathroom and pushing a button on the outlet in the bathroom. The outlet in the bedroom did not need repair and did not need replacing after all. The other problem was the back porch lights. Originally I had asked that new fixtures be installed and the wiring to be checked because one light was not turning on. The electrician found that nothing was wrong with the wiring (?). My husband had installed 1 of the new fixtures, the electrician said that it was done properly. When the electrician opened the box to install the second fixture, the glass part was broken so he could not install it. They quoted me a price of $150. I called the owner and complained that no real repair had taken place, only checking. It was then that he told me they need to charge $150 for small jobs. This is something he failed to tell me when I first called. I had assumed that when a small amount of work was done, not as much was charged. What do I know? I only teach kids to read to months out of the year. I do know I won't be asking this business back.
