Crazy Fred's is a great card shop with an amazing owner. While it is most known for its ample stock of Magic: The Gathering supplies, it also has posters, great comics and a slew of other trading card games.
Fred himself is an amazing person, he is dedicated to his clients and is himself a true geek. He loves his family dearly and is one of the most genuine people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. If you want something he doesn't have, he will bend over backwards to find somewhere that does, or order it for you.
An incredible shop owned by an incredible person. Go there, hang out, be a geek and live it up.
Crazy Fred's is a great place for kids who like Magic the Gathering and other card games. Fred is on site at all times and always ready to answer any questions or make any suggestions. This isn't like your regular comic shop. I bring my kids there all the time and they really love it. They are Magic fanatics and Fred is a Magic guru. You'd think the guy invented it, that's how much he knows. I've been to other stores in San Diego and none of them are anywhere near as helpful or give my kids the friendly customer service that Fred does. The rest seem to be annoyed by their customers. I really appreciate any business that caters to it's customers.
